TAP Air Portugal received representatives from 11 touristic operators in the Portuguese market last week, on the 14th, in its headquarters, in Lisbon. This was a way to honor these partners, that have been contributing to the sales success of the Company in regular and charter flights.
CEOs, Commercial Directors and Product Managers from the several companies went to TAP’s headquarters in the end of the day, where they visit Hangar 6, followed by an awards ceremony and a dinner.
The 11 invited operators were Abreu, Nortravel, Solférias, Soltrópico/Turanga, Exótico, Sonhando, Viajartours, Pinto Lopes Viagens, Viagens Tempo, Travelplan and Lusanova. In TAP’s perspective, all of them contributed in a significant way to the enormous increase of income volume in the past two years, so this was an honest recognition of all the work developed together.
Concerning regular flights, the income generated by these operators for TAP increased 24 per cent in 2017, compared to 2016, corresponding to an increase of 38 per cent in the number of passengers transported. In charter flights, the increase is even bigger, with over 110 per cent of income and more 300 per cent of passengers transported.
