IMEX America happened in the 10, 11 and 12 of October and, once again, TAP was there. Assumed as one of the most important fairs in the events and congress industry, it presents itself as an unique opportunity to spread brands and services and to create contacts, in particular in the North American market, one of the recent investments from the Portuguese Company.
TAP was a part of the “Visit Portugal” stand besides great names of the national tourism, from hotels, travel agencies to corporate events spaces. TAP’s presence proved, once again, the importance of the Company in different markets and its commitment to a growth in the new company’s strategy.
The expansion to the North American market has been a winning bet for the Company that, in the sequence of the launch of the routes New York – JFK and Boston, in the United States of America, and Toronto, in Canada, has already tripled its operation to this region of the world. Between January and September of this year, TAP assumed a 70% grow of the number of passengers transported, against the same period of last year.
