TAP was prominently featured at the last Randstad Employer Brand Award Ceremony, as it climbed to the podium to receive the "silver medal." According to the Portuguese of working age, TAP is the second most attractive company to work in Portugal, an opinion verified through an independent study conducted by Randstad. The event took place in the City of Football, in Lisbon, on 4th of April.
Thus, TAP rises a place relative to 2018, the year in which it entered the top 3, being the first Portuguese company to appear in the final ranking. The distinction is of great importance, as it results from the largest independent study of employer brand, where a sample of the Portuguese active population is questioned about the companies it recognizes in terms of brand awareness and, within those, which it considers most attractive to work. The final ranking is structured according to perceptions about human resources criteria, such as salary and benefits, balance between personal and professional life, career opportunities and training, among others.
In the particular case of TAP, the three main EVPs (Employee Value Proposition) are the use of state-of-the-art technology, a business area of great interest and job security. The EVP, or value proposition to the employee, is what the company effectively offers as a differential to its employees, which is determinant for the permanence of the same in the company where it works and be motivated to give its best all days.
In 2018, TAP contracted 1.2 thousand Employees and the TAP Group ended the year with more than 12 thousand direct Employees in Portugal, also placing the Company among the largest employers in the country.
