The Millenials are an important target for the Airline, who has developed actions in specific territories of this public, as is the case of summer music festivals. This year, just like last year, TAP was present in four music festivals, where it proved to be a young and current brand.
Rock in Rio and NOS Alive – in Lisbon – MEO Marés Vivas – in Porto – and MEO Sudoeste - in Zambujeira do Mar – were the stops of this tour through Portuguese summer festivals. At the TAP stand of the last three, visitors have been able to experience the simulator that offers a near-real experience of piloting an airplane. This simulator consists of a platform with a gyroscope system and motion sensors, virtual reality glasses and a software (game) capable of generating an immersive (3D) environment. The participants – more than 1200 – that could get 17 rings in the shortest time, were able to win a trip for two to any TAP destination in Europe. Those who attended Rock in Rio Lisboa could also buy some TAP Store products.
The contents posted on TAP's social networking pages – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn – exceeded one million views and had several thousand of interactions.
