In the month when more planes arrived at the Company, the MyNEO sponsorship ceremonies had to correspond and reached the mark of 20 sponsored aircrafts. Following the CS-TJO, CS-TXD and CS-TUP, the Flight Operations Directorate and the iOCC / Operations Coordination Center and Airport Services, respectively, this week came to newcomers CS-TUR and CS-TVG meet their godparents.
Earlier this week, the Airbus A330neo CS-TUR - the 20th aircraft to be sponsored under the MyNEO program – received at Hangar 6 a dozen of employees from the Training and Instruction Directorate, led by Commander Mário Bento, whom was very pleased with the initiative and sponsorship of this state-of-the-art aircraft: “We are also part of this great growth project. The arrival of this new fleet brings many new crews to TAP, so we are very involved in this whole process. It is a work we are proudly doing that represents the future of this Company. "
Edgar Pirão, the Managing Ambassador appointed to accompany the entire Aircraft Transfer of Title process in Toulouse, saw it with pride that he could represent his area in this process “many people are unaware of the behind-the-scenes work for anything to happen”, "This kind of initiative allows us to feel an integral part of the Company in such a complex and responsible process as the delivery of a new aircraft."
Two days later, it was in front of Hangar 5 that a portion of more than the 1,000 TAP’s Aircraft Maintenance (MA) employees joined, the largest area to date to sponsor one of the new aircrafts within the MyNEO internal program. Maria João Cardoso, who heads this huge team, jokingly confesses that perhaps the CS-TVG is the most esteemed of all the fleet's planes from now on: “Arguably, people are connected not only to growth and Company innovation, but they are really connected to a plane, it's a great initiative. "
Remember the arrival of the two sponsored aircraft the same evening, and see the images of the ceremonies - which included the traditionally placed mockup at the Campus Refectory - in the galleries below.
