TAP has been implementing a number of proximity and employee recognition initiatives - TAP Stars Program, Monthly Lunches with CEO, Command Promotion, Head and Cabin Supervisors, NPS TOP Performers and 100% Present Program - and today was another day of celebration, where we celebrated the birthday of many of the TAP family for decades.
Alongside the recognition that was already made by the 20 years of “home”, now the employees who have been part of the Company for 40 years have now been recognized at a joint ceremony. In all, more than 100 people were honored, including Cabin Crew, Pilots, Maintenance & Engineering workers, Portugália and other areas, who received from the hands of CEO Antonoaldo Neves a diploma and a custom model of a NEO plane.
“TAP is today an extraordinarily strong company and this is only possible thanks to you. My deep appreciation for the way in which they took care of our Company over the last decades, we will continue with this legacy”, said Antonoaldo Neves, in his opening speech.
In addition to the honored contributors, their directors and CEO, other members of TAP's C Level also attended, including Chief Financial Officer Raffael Quintas, Chief Operating Officer Ramiro Sequeira, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer Abilio Martins and Chief Technical Officer. Mário Lobato de Faria, besides the CEO of Portugália, Valter Fernandes.
Note that the new annual TAP family time celebration program has been redesigned and is now different: more comprehensive and inclusive as it celebrates more milestones in the career of TAP Employees. In addition to the event of 20 and 40 years, TAP has also symbolically honored employees with 5, 10 and 30 years of home, with hundreds of employees involved in this new recognition program of the Company. TAP Employees who retired this year were forgotten, for which a special ceremony was organized, celebrating what is a "new route".
